The session is a tribute to Mogens' newly released book "Don't Pull on the Leash!". All participants in the training/contest will get a copy of it on CD.

No pain – no abuse - no choke chains – no halties – no electronics – no “special devices” of any kind will be allowed. All work will be done with an ordinary buckle collar and a solid leash.

Mogens Eliasen is on a mission to raise the level of consciousness for dog owners to recognize and respect the dog's nature. He is providing a series of courses and seminars in Thurmont, MD from April 27 to May 08, including the free leash training. The MD visit is part of a tour from St. Louis, MO till Ottawa, Canada.

"Dogs are intelligent animals that need mental stimulation and challenges in order to stay in harmony with themselves and their environment - in my experience, 90-95% of all behavioral problems originate in inadequate mental stimulation", says Mogens.

“Dogs need more than food and shelter, and some petting. They need to be appreciated as valuable members in a pack/family with competent leadership, and they need to work with their instincts.”
