Poster Pens are unique ballpoint pens with almost 40 square inches of printed content coiled around the inside of the pen's barrel. A silhouette of the state shape highlighted with major cities and a thumbnail image of the state flag are also featured. On the back, a small map of the United States outlines all 50 states and lists their respective populations, dates added to the union, capitals and postal abbreviations.

"Teachers are invited to view photos of Poster Pens to make sure they don't find their way into the hands of little test-takers," Reisman says with a grin. "It beats writing all that state information on the bottom of your shoe...not that I ever did, of course."
