The Actors Hall of Fame Announces The Acting Channel

A new integrated media service aimed at the mass market that will satisfy the increased demand for acting related information, entertainment and services

New York, NY (PRWEB) April 12, 2005 -- The Acting Channel, a new integrated media service aimed at the mass market that will satisfy the increased demand for acting related information, entertainment and services, was announced today by Rusty Citron, Chairman of The Actors Hall of Fame Foundation.

The Acting Channel will create, aggregate and distribute content in three main areas, Original Productions, Interactive Services and Information. In making the announcement, Citron said, Were building an exciting new media platform that is intended for the new reality of how people get entertainment, services and information." The Acting Channel will integrate production, services and information on a global, national, regional or local basis simultaneously. He added, this is not re-purposing content, or porting it over, its all about embracing the new these exciting new opportunities that help us fulfill our mission."

The Actors Hall of Fame Foundation is in discussions with a wide range of potential partners for The Acting Channel including, software companies, telecos, producers and international media companies. The Actors Hall of Fame Foundation expects to commence operation of The Acting Channel this fall to coincide with its Annual Induction Celebration.
