EDDY MAC Offers New Comp Promo CD

San Francisco area rock band giving away new CD

(PRWEB) April 13, 2005 -- San Francisco Bay Area band "Eddy Mac" has joined the cyber world with its new web site, EddyMac.com. To celebrate the opening of their web site, the band is offering fans and site visitors a free Promo CD produced by their recording label, Red Delicious Records of Ventura, California.

Eddy Mac is a rock and roll band with a following in the Bay Area. Ralph Lichtenstein and Jef Madnik are the heart of the band. Ralph, the founder of the group, has been pursuing his music dream for the last 25 years. When he met Jef, he knew he had found a very strong positive to add to Eddy Mac.

Jeff and Ralph are both gifted songwriters, as well as musicians. Bay Area fans love their original lyrics, which are written from the heart. And the fans LOVE the way their music resonates incredibly relatable vibrations that tie the band's personal life experiences, lyrics and melodic sound together in one amazingly rich package.

The promotional CD being offered for free during the first week of their web site opening (April 11-17) contains three songs. "Conversation" and "Moment" are written by Jef Madnik, while "Just a Little While" is written by Ralph Lichtenstein. In "Conversation" Madnik writes "You've got talk to your maker, Have a conversation", revealing that the writer sees a bigger picture in life than just the road immediately in front of him. In "Moment" Jef talks to a woman he is falling in love with, asking her to listen to his music. The music tells her that he is "just a moment away, only a moment away from falling in love with her."

Ralph Lichtenstein reveals the intimate side of his life and the nature of relationships in his song "Just a Little While". Instead of the usual saccharine commercial drivel, this song includes these poignant and honest lines "Doin' some thinkin' 'bout the two of us baby now. We've seen hard times. That makes us crazy. You're light, breezy and so easy to love. So why don't you stay for just a little while. A little while."

Red Delicious Records, a small, independent label in Southern California is offering the Free CD that can be obtained by going to the band's web site, at www.EddyMac.com and filling in a simple request form. The offer is good through April 17th, 2005.
