Spunlogic Wins Two Horizon Interactive Awards

Spunlogic was recently acknowledged by The 2005 Horizon Interactive Awards for their excellence in email marketing and flash development. A leading international interactive media competition, The Horizon Interactive Awards recognized Spunlogic with a Silver award for their work with HoneyBaked Ham and a Bronze for their work with Atlanta-based Jim Ellis automotive group.

A leading international interactive media competition, The Horizon Interactive Awards recognized Spunlogic with a Silver award for their work with HoneyBaked Ham and a Bronze for their work with Atlanta-based Jim Ellis automotive group.

The Silver was awarded in the Email/Banner Ad category for the HoneyBaked Ham Thanksgiving 2004 Personalized Gift List Email. Spunlogic designed a database-driven, highly personalized email for HoneyBaked’s customers. Taking data from last year’s sales, Spunlogic created an email that personally addressed each recipient, presented their exact order from the previous year and allowed them to simply click on a link to send the same order again. Users were also able to modify their order before submitting.

The Bronze was awarded in the Flash category for the Jim Ellis Flash-Based Vehicle Inventory Search. This feature on their website is a dynamic, real-time inventory tool to facilitate helping users determine what type of automobile would be best for them. Spunlogic implemented this tool after running the project through their Online Behavior Strategy and uncovering a previously unknown user segment on the Jim Ellis website. The 2005 competition received hundreds of entries from 15 countries including: Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, Switzerland, United Kingdom and nearly all 50 US states. A panel of judges, who consisted of various industry professionals with diverse backgrounds, evaluated 11 different categories. The 2005 award winning entries showcase the best developed web sites, cd-roms, dvds, audio, video, kiosks, video games and other interactive media.
