(PRWEB) April 14, 2005 -- Come step into a world of rhyme, reason and truth. Get to know the Internationally Acclaimed Poet Rainey Moon whose words won Suggested Artist for Songwriter of the Year by nationally recognized music video channel VH1s sponsored Save the Music Foundation in 2004 and whose book Timeless Souls nominated for the 2005 IPPY Awards inspired Australian band The Honey Palace to produce the song Love Never Stays.

Reviewers proclaim her work as off the beaten path with a profound insightfulness that few authors achieve through her gentle and inspirational free-verse contemplations of the soul. Rainey has been compared to renowned poet Emily Dickinson and her work deemed a modern day Song of Solomon. Silence befalls her listeners as she flows her words in awe of her ability to captivate the thoughts, emotions and experiences of so many. Now it's your turn to experience Rainey Moon.

Chesterfield native, Rainey Moon, will be the Guest Poet at The Little Professor Book Center as the Poetry Aloud group celebrates National Poetry Month. The event will be held on April 16, 2005 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. She will present readings from her newest release Whispered Words, discuss the creative processes of her work and offer tips on how to become a published poet. She will also be available for book signings and one-on-one chatting after the close of the meeting.

The Little Professor Book Center is located in the Chesterfield Meadows Shopping Center. The event is free; however, seating is limited so please call ahead for a reservation. For more information call or to reserve your seat call 804-777-9388. You may also visit Raineys website at www.raineymoon.com.
