New Barter Group Launches in Indy

A new barter exchange group has launched in Indianapolis. Tony Sandlin and David Treacy founded B.I.G., which stands for Barter Indiana Group. Both have experience in the barter business and have teamed up with Tom McDowell who is recognized throughout the barter industry for his expertise, and has received numerous national awards acknowledging his contributions. McDowell is a founding member of the National Association of Trade Exchanges (NATE), which was formed to help foster sound business and ethical practices within the barter industry.

Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) April 15, 2005 -- There are other barter organizations in Indianapolis but B.I.G. is differentiating itself with a high level of customer service and innovative communications strategies to make members more aware of companies that are open for trading products and services. We can really educate small businesses on reducing their need for cash and we can help larger businesses leverage unsold inventory for services they need," stated Sandlin who will serve as the companies CEO.

Over 75 Central Indiana businesses have already signed up to become barter trading members with B.I.G. The company expects to have 250 businesses online by the end of this year. B.I.G. charges an application fee of $195. B.I.G. will refund the application fee if they dont bring the business owner at least $1000 in new business. They also charge a $15 cash and $15 trade administration fee per month, and a transaction fee as low as 10% when they sell the members products and or services.
