"Gratitude Works" Open Your Heart to Love" is a part of this effort by the I AM Foundation. A California based charitable organization, I AM, in partnership with Katherine Scherer and Eileen Bodoh, co-authors of "Gratitude Works," is sponsoring this worthwhile worldwide effort.
For each $6.00 contribution, a copy of this inspirational book will be distributed as a gift to a child anywhere in the world. It is felt that inspiring literacy and self-esteem among children will inure to future generations for world betterment. "Gratitude Works" is a collection of 365 short stanzas exploring what we have to be grateful for in our lives. Scherer and Bodoh are Milwaukee, Wisconsin, residents who wrote "Gratitude Works" as an outgrowth of their friendship which started with their church affiliation. The purpose of our book is "to touch lives with the spirit of gratitude" stated the authors. Their campaign goal with this Foundation is to arrange donation of 10,000 copies of "Gratitude Works" around the globe.
