Don Southerton Featured Speaker on Korean Business Culture at Georgia Tech

The Korea Southeast U.S. Chamber of Commerce will host an annual dinner following a symposium at Georgia Tech College of Managements 11th Annual Global Business Forum. The featured speaker for the dinner will be Don Southerton, president of Bridging Culture. Southerton's talk will focus on Korean business culture and etiquette. The daylong event will be held April 27, 2005.

(PRWEB) April 18, 2005 -- The Korea Southeast U.S. Chamber of Commerce will host an annual dinner following a symposium at Georgia Tech College of Managements 11th Annual Global Business Forum. The featured speaker for the dinner will be Don Southerton, president of Bridging Culture. Southerton's talk will focus on Korean business culture and etiquette. The daylong event will be held April 27, 2005.

The business symposium is titled Doing Business with Korea -- Gateway to Northeast Asias Markets." The conference will run from 8 AM-5 PM at the Georgia Center for Advanced Telecommunications Technology.

Organized by the Georgia Tech Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) and presented by United Parcel Service, the forum will help attendees identify market opportunities in South Korea, overcome regulatory and cultural obstacles, and understand the evolution of the country's business environments.

Southerton notes Understanding the cultural differences between Americans and Koreans is crucial in reducing misunderstandings and maximizing productivity in business. Cross-cultural education ensures success."
