Public Schools Waste 12 Years of a Childs Life

Public schools lock up children for 12 years, yet barely teach millions of children how to read, write, or do basic math. Their failure to do so means that public schools can waste 12 years of our childrens lives.

(PRWEB) April 18, 2005 -- In his new book, Public Schools, Public Menace: How Public Schools Lie To Parents and Betray Our Children," author Joel Turtel shows how many public schools cripple childrens ability to read with the whole-language reading method and destroy childrens confidence in doing math by teaching new" or fuzzy" math. Kids also have to suffer through dumbed-down textbooks, a dumbed-down curriculum, and incompetent or mediocre teachers who are protected by tenure.

Turtel says, If parents value their childrens time, passion for learning, and future success in life, then they should consider taking their children out of public school, permanently. Parents do not have to settle for a third-rate, mind-numbing education for their children. They have quality, low-cost education alternatives they can use right now if they take their children out of public school."

Parents will find more information about public schools, alternative education options, and Turtels book at his website, www.mykidsdeservebetter.com. Turtel can also be reached at his email, lbooksusa@aol.com, and at 718-447-7348.
