TalariaEnterprises.com Museum Store to retail Parastone’s 3D-Mouseion Museum Collection of miniature statuettes based on well-known paintings. The European manufacturer Parastone has brought to life iconic paintings, in the greatest detail, as three-dimensional statuettes from the original flat canvas artworks. The artworks originate from world-renown artists such as Bosch, Degas, Dali, Rodin, Breugel, Ronner-Knip, Arcimboldo, Grunewald, Toulouse-Lautrec, Klimt, Modigliani, Pompon, and Mackintosh. These reproductions will excite museum visitors, history buffs and art collectors alike who frequently purchase mementos of their favorite artworks in museum gift shops.

The 3D-Mouseion Museum Collection offers art lovers the ability to “view” their favorite artworks from an entirely different perspective altogether and in a different dimension: 3D! Many have often wondered what these historical artworks would look like from behind the canvas or from the side. Now for the first time this perspective is possible. No details were overlooked in the making of these adaptations. Included with each figurine, is a “triptych-folded” card of the painting, and a brochure telling about the painter and the specific detail about the statue. These cards read in four languages: Spanish, Dutch, English, and French.

“It shocks you and gets your attention right off the bat, so you have to stop and look at it and say, ‘what the heck is that.’ Then to find out that the piece has such a deep rooted meaning and history, the statuette becomes extraordinary,” says Joe Gomez, Owner of TalariaEnterprises.com.

One of the statuette sets is based on Hiëronymus Bosch’s painting, “Garden of Earthly Delights,” now in the Prado Museum in Madrid. From an artistic point of view, the world famous brilliant forerunner of surrealism was, in his day, unique and radically different. In this triptych altarpiece, Bosch shows us how we mortal souls, arisen from earthly paradise, are on our way to the atrocious ordeals of hell via our unchaste lives on earth. Bosch’s style arises from the tradition of the book illuminations (manuscript illustrations from the Middle Ages). The caricatured representation of evil tones down its terrifying implications, but also serves as a defiant warning with a theological basis.

The sale of Bosch reproductions in the 3D-Mouseion Museum Collection has been “building momentum” in its native European soil since its inception in the year 2000. TalariaEnterprises.com has chosen to begin distribution in the US now because "We would like to help educate art lovers about the special contributions of artists like Bosch, Breugel, Dali, and others which are better known to European museum visitors. Our efforts are synchronized with some blockbuster museum exhibits like the Dali Retrospective currently on display at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Toulouse-Lautrec at the National Gallery and the Institute of Chicago later this year," remarks Nina Christensen, Director of Sales and Marketing for TalariaEnterprises.com.

Parastone was originally a part of the famous art dealer “Borzo”, that was established in 1880. The Parastone branch was started in 1963 to do restoration work for Borzo and later specialized in restoring the art in churches. Eventually it started to create its own sculptures. When the original sculptures were shown at an exhibition in Paris in 2001, it became clear that these small figurines had an appeal to people from all over Europe. So now, the unique Parastone Collection has made its way overseas to the US and Canada.

The 3D-Mouseion Museum Collection can be viewed and purchased by the general public at TalariaEnterprises.com website. It is a remarkable collection of miniature statuettes of which reproduce in three-dimensions beloved artworks by such notable artists as Bosch, Dali, Degas, Rodiin, Klimt, Modigliani and others. All statuettes ship from California after they have been inspected for quality assurance.
