Boris FX further advanced its commitment to customer education by today releasing a new Boris Continuum Complete training DVD. Continuum Complete (BCC) is a comprehensive suite of native plug-in filters and transitions designed to streamline workflow for Adobe® After Effects®, Adobe Premiere Pro®, Apple® Final Cut Pro®, Apple Motion®, Discreet® Combustion® and Boris® Red systems.

(PRWEB) April 18, 2005 -- NAB 2005, Las Vegas, NV (Booth SL 4045) - Boris FX further advanced its commitment to customer education by today releasing a new Boris Continuum Complete training DVD.

Two versions of the DVD will be available. The first version is available now and teaches users how to incorporate BCC into Apple Final Cut Pro and Motion environments on Macintosh systems. The second version will be available Q3 2005 and covers how to incorporate BCC into Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects environments on Windows systems. Both DVDs will help both novice and experienced editors to learn more about creating BCC effects directly in their native effects interface. Each DVD includes a comprehensive PDF tutorial and more than 200 new presets.

The DVD for Final Cut Pro and Motion is hosted by Steve Bayes, author of "The Avid Handbook," which is currently in its 4th edition. Bayes has created DVDs for Desktop Images, Avid, Media 100 and his own company artFXual. He also created a Boris Continuum Complete AVX training DVD. BCC AVX lets editors create effects directly in Avid's Effects mode. For eight years, Bayes was Principle Product Designer for Media Composer, Symphony and Nitris at Avid Technology. His experience also includes developing advanced classes including the Avid Master Editor Workshop. He is currently Director of Product Marketing at Media 100, a unit of Optibase.

"There are little things in these comprehensive videos that will make a huge difference to the quality of your work," said Steve Bayes. "The ability to keyframe between apply modes or add a quick tracking effect are really impressive to clients who only expect that kind of work with much more expensive systems"

The DVD for Premiere Pro and After Effects is hosted by Chris Vadnais, author of "Instant Boris Effects." Vadnais is the host of Class On Demand's "Boris Basics, Tips, & Tricks" training DVD. He is also a television and radio producer for the U.S. Air Force Broadcasting Service and hosts the Digital Media Network's Boris FX user forum. Vadnais also serves as a beta tester for Boris FX.
