EasyTel Announces Multiple-Language Capability for the Universal Office

The Universal Office now provides the nation's first nationwide unified communications platform with support for multiple languages. Las Vegas-based EasyTel announced today that their flagship Universal Office platform now provides multiple language support, which can be selected and configured by their individual customers to suit their own needs.

(PRWEB) April 19, 2005 -- The Universal Office now provides the nation's first nationwide unified communications platform with support for multiple languages. Las Vegas-based EasyTel announced today that their flagship Universal Office platform now provides multiple language support, which can be selected and configured by their individual customers to suit their own needs.

"We're starting off with English and Spanish - the two most widely spoken languages in our key markets," said EasyTel President Randal Skala. "This new capability gives our customers a power and flexibility that previously used to require programming by technical support."

The new feature allows individual customers to select the language which GenieTM - the voice and personality of all the Universal Office functions - will use when answering their calls. For example, a customer can have calls which GenieTM used to answer, "You have reached the office of Mr. Garcia" answered with, Oficina Virtual de Sr. Garcia" instead.

Customers can even select a menu approach, in which GenieTM will answer the call by asking the caller to select the language THEY wish to hear.

"Genie will be learning more and more languages as she expands her web. The next language, is probably Chinese" Skala continued, "and as she does, those languages will be automatically added to the list from which our customers - OR their callers- can select."
