PROactive Media, Inc Signs Agreement with Sovereign Production Company to Offer "60-Second Housecalls" for Mobile Video Licensing

PROactive Media, Inc., a media licensing corporation in Florida, and Sovereign Production Company, an entertainment company in New York City, entered into an agreement with the purpose of leveraging video assets represented by Sovereign Productions and developing emerging technology markets.

(PRWEB) April 19, 2005 -- PROactive Media, Inc., a media licensing corporation in Florida, and Sovereign Production Company, an entertainment company in New York City, entered into an agreement with the purpose of leveraging video assets represented by Sovereign Productions and developing emerging technology markets.

The partnership agreement gives PROactive Media rights to market the medical information and lifestyle series entitled, "60-Second Housecalls." The video series, which is comprised of 780 one-minute episodes, is a comprehensive series covering a broad range of medical and health topics. The series is hosted by Dr. Bob Lanier, a well-known and respected physician who has been featured on the "Oprah Winfrey Show" and "NBC Nightly News." PROactive Media will develop licensing opportunities with the mobile phone industry as well as the international media.

"This series appeals to a market between 35-50 years-old with highly-disposable income, earning between $50,000-$75,000 annually. This series serves an increasingly important demographic for the mobile phone industry, especially as their demographic profiles grow older," states PROactive Media President, Tony Coolidge. "The video episodes are approximately 60 seconds in length, which is a perfect size for mobile video downloads."

The agreement is estimated to develop into deals for the "60-Second Housecalls" series worth approximately $2 million over the next several years. Agreements for additional titles produced by Sovereign Production Company are estimated to be worth an additional $1.5 million over the next three years.

"We chose to partner with PROactive Media to expand our marketing efforts, because they open the doors to new technology and international markets," stated Sovereign Production Company President Eric Colodne.

Tony Coolidge concludes, "The mobile video market is forecasted to grow from practically zero in 2004 to $5.4 billion in 2009. There are 22.3 million Americans projected to become viewers of mobile phone video content. We are developing the frontier of a rapidly emerging form of media by building and offering an attractive library of on-demand video content. It makes perfect sense that we add quality programming from Sovereign Productions to strengthen and diversify our library of content."

Sovereign Productions, a film, television and music production and distribution firm is led by Eric Colodne, with over 25 years in the entertainment industry. Other projects include, "If They Could See Me Now" (CBS TV -- Emmy Award Winner), "Rap To Rock" (Syndicated Music TV Series), and "Power Rangers" (Fox TV). Sovereign's current album project with artist Adam Thomas features titles, "Sexual" and "Cold Hearted Outlaw."

PROactive Media, Inc., located near Orlando, Florida, has been a media producer developing international projects since 1997. With its international media and government contacts, the company provides producers the opportunities to open doors to overseas markets. PROactive Media has developed working relationships in China and is well positioned to establish clients in the world's largest marketplace.
