New website lets environmentally conscious travelers find "green" hotels. Users can submit new properties they find, and send in reviews.

The more environmental steps that a hotel does, the higher its rating on the site. Kit Cassingham, principal of Sage Blossom Consulting, has several hopes for the site. Hotels are notorious for waste, Cassingham says. According to Green Seal, an average 150-room hotel purchases more products and resources in one week than 100 families do in one year.
