Discount Managed Funds (DMF) has announced the addition of a new web-based superannuation service - Discount Super Funds (DSF) and website to complement its on-line investment facility

DMF-DSF Director Mr. Tyrone Wiseman welcomed the addition of the new on-line superannuation service commenting that the current proliferation in financial, investment, protection and superannuation products and services could easily overwhelm the Australian consumer.

"The challenge for Financial Services providers is to simplify their offering by removing any roadblocks that impede Australians providing for their financial and retirement future well being.

“Australians have traditionally demonstrated an eagerness and propensity to embrace and utilise new technology – Financial Services is no exception.

Financial and Investment service organizations have to match the pace and rate of change, or they will be left behind by investment consumers.”

DSF’s new website provides access to Australian Retail Superannuation Funds and allows employees who have the opportunity to select an appropriate Fund from some of Australia’s leading Fund Manager Superannuation Funds.

Employers will also have access to information that they require to facilitate their superannuation obligations.

Mr. Wiseman continued, “To assist employers, we have included a Fact Find facility on the website and also – have an exclusive arrangement with Financial Wisdom.

Employers that require assistance or advice can arrange for a consultation with a Financial Wisdom professional Financial Adviser from its extensive national network.”

The new DSF facility is ideal for people looking to consolidate their funds into one easy to administer superannuation fund. In particular, the facility will be ideal for young people changing jobs and require a portable fund.

“It is our goal to build on our successes and continue to deliver client focussed solutions, that will assist Australians to secure their financial, investment and retirement well-being. Empowering, motivating and providing simplified processes and facilities is the key,” concluded Mr. Wiseman.
