Slated for April 23rd and 24th, this year's Los Angeles Times Festival of Books marks the gala's decade anniversary. When it began in 1996, the festival had one goal in mind: to bring together the people who create books with the people who love to read them. That mission has proven so successful that today, the festival has become one of the nation's major literary events and the largest in Southern California. Last year it had 130,000 attendees and over 500 exhibitor booths. This year looks to top those impressive figures. Guerrero will be in good company amongst best-selling authors such as James Patterson, Stuart Woods and Mary Higgins Clark.
