NSTI Sells Out Exhibit Hall will Close First Exhibit Show and Move in a New Group of Exhibitors for a Second Exposition at Nanotech 2005

The Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI) today announced its Nanotech 2005 Conference and Trade Show to be held in Anaheim at the Anaheim Marriott Convention Center will exceed 200 exhibitors and sponsors doubling last years record year.

(PRWEB) April 22, 2005 -- The event was so oversold that we had 16 companies on the waiting list at one point" said Denise Lee, Nanotech 2005 Sales Director. We had to figure out a way to accommodate these exhibitors so we decided to open another exhibit show after we close the first one after the first 2 days. With a long show like ours with multiple co-located events, we can do this and still deliver good traffic to the show floor."

Combined attendance at Nanotech 2005, BioNano 2005 and the Nanotech Ventures events is expected to exceed 2,500 attendees. Weve over sold our hotel room block and are taking rooms from other groups now" said Matthew Laudon Executive Director of NSTI. Nanotech 2005 will feature some of the most respected leaders, investors, academics and companies in the field of nanotechnology."

The list includes: Richard M. Russell, Associate Director, OSTP, Executive Office of the President, US, James S. Murday, NSET Executive Secretary, NNI, Office of Naval Research, US, Peter E. Barker, NIST, John Moores UCSD Cancer Center, Vida Ilderem, Motorola, Phaedon Avouris, manager of nanoscience and nanotechnology at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, Keith R. Larson, Intel Capital, Gregory J. Downing, Director, Office of Technology and Industrial Relations, National Cancer Institute, Gregory S. Blackman, DuPont, Steve Jurvetson, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Waqar Qureshi, ChevronTexaco, among others.

Nanotech 2005 is the worlds largest and oldest nanotechnology conference of its kind. The five-day conference and trade show will profile new companies and technologies and encourage scientific and discussion among nanotech industry leaders.
