Narrowstep Launch World's First City Broadband TV Channel
Narrowstep, the TV on the Internet Company, have launched the World's first CityTV Glasgow.TV at the National Association of Broadcasters in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) April 22, 2005 -- Narrowstep, the TV on the Internet Company, have launched www.Glasgow.tv - the worlds first city produced, 24/7 broadband television channel, at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).
Glasgow.tv has been created to showcase Glasgow as an exciting and capable event venue and the perfect tourist destination. The new broadband channel will broadcast international events from the city, carry advertising and act as an information source for overseas visitors and ex-pats.

Narrowsteps channels offer 24 hour 7 day a week viewing with the option of scheduled programs, highlights and video on demand to anyone in the world with a broadband connection. Current footage on Glasgow.tv includes: the Fresh 'n Low Great Scottish Run, the Redbull Railstorm snowboarding competition, the World Pipe Band Championships and the launch of the Glasgow Clipper yacht which will take part in the Clipper around the World Race later this year.
Glasgow is the first channel to launch on the 'CityTV programme, using the platform to build and deliver a television station for a city over the internet to millions of viewers worldwide. From a central console all elements of the system can be controlled, including programming, scheduling, advertising insertion, pay per view events and statistical analysis.
