Familes of 9/11 Victims Gather in Rye Brook, NY

VOICES of September 11th will host a Spring Information Forum, open to families of September 11th victims, survivors and rescue workers. With a wide range of activities planned for adults and for children, the forum will be informative, relaxing and fun! It will be held at the Doral Arrowwood Conference Resort in Rye Brook, New York from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, April 30, 2005.

New Canaan, CT (PRWEB) April 23, 2005 -- VOICES of September 11th will host a Spring Information Forum, open to families of September 11th victims, survivors and rescue workers. With a wide range of activities planned for adults and for children, the forum will be informative, relaxing and fun! It will be held at the Doral Arrowwood Conference Resort in Rye Brook, New York from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, April 30, 2005.

The day-long forum will include panel discussions and workshops on a wide range of subjects, including: financial planning, preparing for the college application process, creating a memorial foundation and mental health issues. Twenty nine service providers will be available throughout the day to give out information and answer questions. Support Groups for family members, survivors and rescue workers will also be offered.

Dr. Charles Hirsch, Chief Medical Examiner of the City of New York, will discuss the end of the notification process and Inspector Jack Trabitz, New York City Property Clerk Division will discuss the return of personal effects. The Medical Examiner's office will be on hand to make family identification cards.

There will be supervised Children's activities throughout the day, including sports, arts and crafts, face painting, a magic show and other age appropriate games.

The forum is being sponsored by VOICES of September 11th is a multi-faceted organization, based in New Canaan, Connecticut, that provides resources and support to more than 4,000 families, survivors and others impacted by the events of September 11th both domestically and internationally.

Reservations are required to attend the forum.
