(PRWEB) April 23, 2005 -- Salvatore Louis Aresco, the Cosa Nostra Don who refused to do crime has turned author and has written one of the most revealing secrets of the Mafia in a tell-all book about the lives of members of many families. Sam Giancanna, Joe Bonanno and many others all attended "Tables" where the Author sat and gave council. Because of Aresco's religious beliefs he was called' The father confessor" and they gave him "Permission" to write this novel.
The story is based on many actual events that have taken place. Many questions may arise regarding Mob Bosses, like the well-known Crime Family heads, Vito Genovese, Joe Bonanno, Joe Columbo, Tommy Ryan Eboli, and Sam Giancanna. Did they attend special meetings called Tables?" The answer to that is yes, they did.
Some characters names have been altered or changed in one form or another. Other well-known celebrities names remain unchanged and are essential in the telling of certain events. The chronology of events has been embellished to hide fact from fiction; this was done purposely to confuse those who still believe in the Omertas 'Code Of Silence. Some of the locations, like Roseland ballroom, are authentic and have nothing to do with Crime Families, but their inclusion was necessary to maintain the truth of particular events.
The final question, did this Sicilian author break the Omerta's 'Code Of Silence?' The answer to that is 'no.' He got permission from the commission.
