We realize how difficult marketing a new website can be and how expensive it is as well

Intrepid Web Directory (http://www.4intrepid.com) announces that webmasters can get a free listing in its directory, without a long wait.
"We realize how difficult marketing a new website can be and how expensive it is as well," said Johann Erickson, who started up the directory after seeing the long wait at some of the other major directories.
"Our directory includes the major categories that you'd see at others, of course. But with ours, you don't have to pay $300 or wait 8-12 months to be approved. We have a goal of getting new submissions online in less than 48 hours," he continued.
Free listings include a link to the home page of the site, as well as the title of the site and a brief description of what users will find there. Mr. Erickson noted, "we also have premium listings, which only cost $29.95. Users who pay for a premium listing get several key benefits. They are listed on top of the free submissions, and they also get 2 extra links to their site, so users can quickly find the most important features that the site has to offer."
Julia, of Helpful Home Ideas (http://www.helpfulhomeideas.com), who has a premium listing, explained some of the benefits of a premium listing, "we included links to two of our most popular sections on our site to help visitors find them much more easily. Traffic has really improved and we know our visitors are thankful to be able to find information so quickly."
In the future, Mr. Erickson plans to add some more features to the directory. "Several free tools are in the works and we hope to get them online within a few months. We will be offering a free counter, free web templates to help new sites get up and running more quickly, as well as free image hosting for auctions and for people who don't have a website, but want to share pictures with friends and family," he said.
He concluded, "the next few months will be very exciting and we are looking forward to seeing the directory growing and adding features that the small business owner can use - without costing them anything."
