Sony Computer Entertainment America Named International Clio Awards 2005 Advertiser of the Year

The international Clio Awards announces the selection of Sony Computer Entertainment America, the company responsible for building the PlayStation brand in North America, as its 2005 Advertiser of the Year award winner. The 7th Annual Award will be presented at this year's international Clio Advertising Awards Festival at the Ritz-Carlton in Miami's South Beach, May 21-24, 2005.

The 7th Annual Award will be presented at this year's international Clio Awards Festival at the Ritz-Carlton in Miami's South Beach, May 21-24, 2005.

“Over the years, advertising for PlayStation has admirably demonstrated a consistent commitment to creative excellence and innovation which has clearly paid off for the brand,” said Ami Brophy, executive director of the Clio Awards.

The 'Advertiser of the Year,' created in 1998, is one of two special awards presented by Clio each year. Previous winners for the prestigious Advertiser of the Year Awards include Anheuser-Busch, Guinness, Volkswagen, Ikea and Nike, among others.
