Aviation Ministries of Oregon to Celebrate Fourth Year at Portland International Airport, Portland, Oregon
Hundreds of airline employees and passengers at PDX have benefited from the efforts of Chaplain Dave Duhrkoop to show them that God can provide a better way of life!
(PRWEB) April 23, 2005 -- Since 2002, Aviation Ministries of Oregon has been serving airline employees and passengers at Portland International Airport. Aviation Ministries of Oregon, founded by Chaplain Dave Duhrkoop and under the auspices of Alive! Ministries, has become a highly regarded name in the ecumenical community of Portland, Oregon. Throughout the world and in the United States there are well over 156 major airports that have chaplaincy services.
Although currently not formally recognized by the Port of Portland, they have offered AMO space in which to have brochures and the provided a safe environment in which our staff may talk with passengers, pilots, flight attendants and ground crews who otherwise (because of their work schedule) may not have an opportunity to attend church regularly.
Join with us in recognizing Aviation Ministries third anniversary this coming June 1, 2005. Their style and evangelism is definitely something not seen in many other airports.
