Kingdom Bound Talent Search Concert Takes Place in Tonawanda, NY, May 6

Kingdom Bound Ministries of Buffalo has an international talent search taking place in 10 cities, and the Buffalo-area competition takes place May 6 in Tonawanda, NY, at Bethesda Full Gospel Church at 7pm, free admission!

(PRWEB) April 23, 2005 -- Six Christian singers and/or bands will compete in a live concert setting on May 6 at Bethesda Full Gospel Church (Delaware & Broad Streets in Tonawanda, New York), in the 2005 Kingdom Bound/Compassion International Talent Search. The 7pm concert is free and open to the public.

Kingdom Bound is holding talent searches in ten American and Canadian cities. The winner of the Tonawanda competition, sponsored in part by Buffalos WDCX 99.5 FM, will then compete against other American city winners at Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church in Williamsville this June. The overall American winner of the Kingdom Bound/Compassion International Talent Search receives several prizes, in addition to the opportunity to perform live on the Houghton College Park Stage at the this summers Kingdom Bound Christian music festival.

The talent search is held in conjunction with the 19th annual Kingdom Bound Christian music festival at Six Flags Darien Lake amusement park and camping resort July 31 through August 3. Six Flags Darien Lake is located in Darien Center, New York, halfway between Buffalo and Rochester.

Kingdom Bound, one of North Americas largest and longest-running festivals, features over 40 pop, rock and praise & worship artists, including headliners Newsboys, Michael W. Smith and MercyMe, as well as several speakers, including former mob man Michael Franzese, MTVs Chris Graebe, social commentator Lakita Garth and actor Stephen Baldwin, among its packed line-up.

Kingdom Bound tickets are surprisingly affordable and include admission to amusement park rides, like the giant Ferris wheel and the Superman: Ride Of Steel coaster. Tickets can be charged by phone at 716-633-1117 or 1-800-461-4485, Monday through Friday 10-5pm EST.
