Richard Greig Releases Solo Disc
Canadian Rocker Richard Greig unveils his solo disc to Japan.
Innisfail, Canada (PRWEB) April 29, 2005 -- Canadian rocker infuses his 80s'metal sounds with Modern Rock and Blues. The small town in North America spawned this high energy rock talent with big musical passion. Richard Greig has released his first solo disc to Japan. All tracks were written entirely by Richard himself who handles guitar, bass, keyboards as well as lead vocals.
The CD features 10 songs that are a Heavy Blues and Metal groove, to contagious Modern Rock. The CD was recorded in Canada, Greigs' native land and was released there in 2004. These are great party-rockin tunes. Rock to the sounds of the overdriving, booty-shakin tracks "Dance For Me," "Electrify," No Hurry" and of course the Inspirational "Send Me an Angel."
Greig draws his inspiration from a wellspring of influences while singing and playing with the same passion as the many great rock stars that came before him. Canada is his home, as well as the fertile ground from where many great musicians such as Rush, Triumph, Nickelback, Big Sugar and Bryan Adams came from. Greig's music will remind you of the wonderful cache of talent that the country has brought us over the years.
There are many elements of song writing, attitude and a combination of different styles used to create these songs. "I like to see people feel what they hear and groove to the rhythm" says Greig. The next CD is currently in the works and though a release date has not been finalized, the end of 2005 is promising.
