The HSBC Business Start-up Awards is targeted at 'newbie entrepreneurs' with businesses less than three years old with unique product and

This is HSBC's fifth annual search for the UK's most enterprising start-up companies and the small business entrepreneurs who own and run them. Finalists from 2004 included a start-up company developing insulating plaster used in the building industry and a company that provided support to teenagers in care.
