Los Angeles-based commercial photographer, Linda Ford wins 2005 Maggie award for Best Single Image Photograph/Trade for her work in California Lawyer magazine.

Linda Ford was awarded a 2005 Maggie Award for the Best Single Editorial Photograph in the Trade category at the 2005 Western Publications Association 54th Annual Maggie Awards Banquet held April 22 in Los Angeles, California. The award was presented to Ms. Ford for her dramatic black and white portraits that ran with the article “Out of the Closet, Into the Courtroom” in the April 2004 issue of California Lawyer. She was also the cover photographer for California Lawyer's December 2004 issue that took home a 2005 Maggie in the Best Special Interest/Trade category.

Linda Ford is a Los Angeles-based commercial photographer with specializing in eclectic portraiture for editorial and advertising clients. Her work has been featured in such publications as California Lawyer, CFO, Crain's New York Business, Delta Airlines Sky Magazine, Entrepreneur, Financial Advisor, Request, Selling Power and the New York Times. Some of her corporate clients include Phoenix Investment Partners, GTE, Kayne Anderson Rudnick and the Los Angeles Centre Theatre Group.

Ms Ford adds her 2005 Maggies to her 1999 Advertising Photographers of America Honorable Mention award for her image, “Metropolis” is from her series featuring images of Greenwich Village and lower Manhattan.

Linda Ford currently resides in Venice, California with three cats and a bunch of cameras and is available for assignment work.
