Getminted Launch Bingo, Monopoly and Poker on the High Street

Look out for Getminted's national advertising campaign. For two weeks Getminted will be heavily promoting their Bingo, Monopoly and Poker products offline at a number of sites throughout the U.K. You won't be able to miss the Getminted posters in phone boxes, at rail stations and outside bingo halls. The activity shows the breadth of the Getminted portfolio of online games and will help maintain the large growth in users seen on the Getminted site since the start of the year.

(PRWEB) April 29, 2005 -- Look out for Getminted's national advertising campaign. For two weeks Getminted will be heavily promoting their Bingo, Monopoly and Poker products offline at a number of sites throughout the UK. You won't be able to miss the Getminted posters in phone boxes, at rail stations and outside bingo halls. The activity shows the breadth of the Getminted portfolio of online games and will help maintain the large growth in users seen on the Getminted site since the start of the year.

A third of the action will concentrate on the Getminted Bingo product. Posters will be strategically placed outside offline Bingo Halls, such as Gala and Mecca. We estimate that each site will be seen by 17.6 million people in total over the two week campaign. Like online poker, bingo on the internet has revolutionized the way people play the game. Getminted bingo offers play 24 /7 whilst chatting on line so you get all the fun and excitement of the bingo hall but from the comfort of your home.

The other focus of the advertising campaign is the Getminted Poker product. Between the 2nd and 25th of May, BT phone boxes will be covered with images of Vinnie Jones, the face of Getminted poker, which will be viewed by an estimated 6.6 million people. The movie style creative will create a huge impact and will replace advertising space traditionally reserved for mega budget Hollywood blockbusters such as the recent Will Smith movie, Hitch.

Monopoly, the world's best-loved board game and Getminted's most popular video slot machine phenomenon, will be advertised at rail stations between 25th April and 8th May. Monopoly Reel Estate combines plenty of payline action with fantastic bonus features.
The new Head of Marketing at Getminted, Gloria Gonzalez said, "We estimate that 454,000 people come into London by rail every day during peak hours and 72% of those traveling into Central London use rail as their main mode of transport. Each of these commuters will see the posters around 10 times during the two week campaign". Aside from the guaranteed maximum exposure at rail stations, Gloria Gonzalez added, "rail stations were a pertinent location to promote Monopoly given that you can buy train stations on the Monopoly Board. There is a clever sub text to the location of these posters."

Getminted is owned by Cashcade Ltd, the UK's best online game destination. Cashcade also operate: www.betplayandwin.com, www.getmintedbingo.com and www.getmintedpoker.com. Cashcade pays out over £15 million in prizes every month to users of its sites.
