Intradyn Announces $2 Million Financing

Intradyn Inc. announced today it has obtained additional financing of approximately $2 million to support its continued growth as a leader in data protection and data preservation solutions for small to midsized businesses (SMBs).

ST. PAUL, MN (PRWEB) April 28, 2005 -- Intradyn Inc. announced today it has obtained additional financing of approximately $2 million to support its continued growth as a leader in data protection and data preservation solutions for small to midsized businesses (SMBs).

The financing amount includes $1.025 million from a debt offering. In addition, the company received a package of economic development funding of approximately $1 million associated with the location of the companys new production facility in Mason City, Iowa.

The economic development package is the result of a cooperative effort by the Mason City Economic Development Council, the North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC), Iowas John Pappajohn Business & Entrepreneurial Center, and the North Iowa Venture Capital Fund (NIVCF). It includes a community economic betterment grant and loan, job training assistance, and an equity investment by the NIVCF. It is the first North Iowa project to receive an investment from that fund, which was capitalized about one year ago. Intradyns facility in Mason City is anticipated to become operational during the second quarter and is expected to result in 60 jobs over three years.
