Company Designs and Plans Group Tours with Safety in Mind

This group tour company designs and plans group tours which offer enjoyment, life long memories and a safe environment, at all times, for the group, while on tour. It is the company's belief that there's safety in numbers. They, also, recognize that a tour company should, always, research the future destination of the group and consider all safety issues in the planning and designing stage of the tour package.

(PRWEB) April 30, 2005 -- Dottie Marketing Group Travel, a division of Dottie Marketing Group, Inc. specializes in designing custom group tour packages, which, not only, addresses the groups enjoyment during the tour, but, also, the groups safety, while on tour.

The company provides 24 hour on-site security during the entire tour. This includes providing an on-site representative from the company, who is available, as an assistant, to the groups leader. If a problem should occur, during the actual tour, the company representative can be contacted 24 hours a day for assistance with any matter. This gives a first time group leader the opportunity to enjoy their trip, as well, knowing that help is, as near as, a phone call, at all times.

For instance, the company was, recently, commissioned to design a group tour package for the upcoming, well advertised music fest in New Orleans in July. The company was informed that the group would consist of, at least, 150 females, who would be traveling to New Orleans for the first time.

The company had to complete extensive research, on the upcoming music fest, in order to, develop a group tour package, which would address all of the safety needs of the group, during the heavily populated music fest. The research provided the company with valuable information, such as; the city would be expecting sell out attendance of 70,000 visitors at all of the Superdome concerts every night, sell-out hotel room expectancy, and at least, one million visitors, traveling, daily, to all of the featured concerts, seminars and the French Quarters. With this in mind, round trip chartered shuttle bus service, to all of the scheduled concerts and the French Quarters area, was included in the tour package.

This travel feature will give the ladies peace of mind while traveling in and around the Superdome and French Quarter areas, especially, at night. Insuring the ladies safety, while traveling to and from the music fest concerts, scheduled activities and the French Quarter, became the number one tour criteria in the planning stage.

In addition, the company concluded that there would, inevitably, be a shortage of cabs, at all times, during the music fest weekend. Designing a a secured method of transpotation for the group, while in New Orleans, became a 'must have' tour package amenity for these first time visitors.

The group leader, also, expressed the desire to include a couple of well-known tour excursions for the groups additional enjoyment. Thus, minimizing the number of ladies who might want to leave the group, in order to, go to unknown destinations with local strangers, without telling anyone. This ia a dangerous practice. Sometimes, keeping a group together requires unique group outings, as well as, addressing the safety issues. So, the company suggested an authentic riverboat luncheon cruise down the mighty Mississippi River and a memorable Streetcar ride through the historic Garden District of New Orleans to world famous Bourbon Street in the French Quarters.

Dottie Marketing Group Travel recognizes theres 'safety in numbers, especially, when a group is merging into a city that has a high urban crime rate, high unemployment rate and boasts 24 hour night life. Many times when people travel to new destinations, that offer the kind of excitement New Orleans has, they tend to let their personal guard down, so they can have fun. The company is aware of this. So, they have made sure that safety and security, by far, is a 'must have feature within this unique tour package to New Orleans in July.

The company believes that a successful group trip starts with a well-planned, custom designed and researched trip, which acknowledges all of the needs of the group, especially their safety, while away from home. Their client base consists of all age groups, including Church groups, social clubs, athletic clubs, fund raising organizations and school groups. They, also, work with clients from all around the world. For more information or to make reservations for the Essence Music Fest in New Orleans, contact Debby Cosby, Group Travel Marketing Director
