Charity Could be in the Cards for Duluth
www.DuluthPoker.com and the Saint Scholastica Card Club have teamed up to host an annual Charity Texas Hold Em Poker Tournament this Sunday, May 1st at 6:00 PM. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to CHUM, a local charity that feeds, bathes, and clothes the needy.
(PRWEB) April 30, 2005 -- The Saint Scholastica Card Club, a student run club that promotes the education of free card games, and www.duluthpoker.com, a local online poker community website, are pleased to announce the DuluthPoker Charity Tournament.
"This marks the first step of our 'coming out party' as we launch the campaign for Duluth Poker," said Daniel Moravec, webmaster of www.duluthpoker.com.
The CSS Card Club, a subsidiary of Saint Scholastica and www.DuluthPoker.com are sponsoring the Duluth Poker Charity Event to benefit the established, non-profit charity CHUM. The tournament is set to kick off with its first large scale charity poker tournament to support needy Duluth citizens that rely on CHUM's support.
All Duluth Citizens are welcome to attend, but the space is limited to as many seats as can fit in the cafeteria at The College of Saint Scholastica.
