Jason Ebs, the former singer and guitarist for CRISS featuring Peter Criss, releases his solo effort "Twisted Roots" as a joint release between indie labels 'Kinky Organ Music' and 'MusicRocks Records.' Stacked like an oreo cookie, the CD starts with heavy KROQ style songs, gets lighter with a STAR 98.7 vibe, and then ends heavy again.

Stacked like an oreo cookie, the CD starts with heavy KROQ style songs, gets lighter with a STAR 98.7 vibe, and then ends heavy again. Two Acoustic songs are also contained within.

Several songs are perfect for movie soundtrack placement: "Clone a Soul" is a mysterious haunting song about how we can clone a body but never clone a spirit; "Bring Back the Time" is a tribute to 9/11 and the events of the War with Iraq, crying out for the innosence that mankind has lost; and "Dreams May Fade" is about keeping your dreams alive in a world that may try to squash them.

"Dreams May Fade", "Bring Back the Time", and "Christmas Chimes" were used in Televisions Shows in 2002 & 2003.

In addition to being the frontman for CRISS on the "Bad Boys of KISS" Tours (a double billing with Ace Frehley's Band) Jason's credits also include playing guitar with Terri Nunn's "BERLIN".

This is his first solo effort following the reunion of KISS in the late 90's.
