Merit Software Introduces "Vocabulary Super Stretch," the Latest Addition to its Award-Winning Line of Educational Software

Designed to help students with word recognition, meanings, and origins of challenging words

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 3, 2005 -- Merit Software, a leader in educational software for over fifteen years, is pleased to announce the newest addition to its line of educational software, "Vocabulary Super Stretch." "Vocabulary Super Stretch" was created to help students in grades 9 through 11 comprehend challenging vocabulary and help them recognize words in different contexts. The software can also be used by ESL and adult students interested in improving their vocabulary skills.

Incorporating such activities as word-to-idea matching and crossword puzzles, Merit Softwares "Vocabulary Super Stretch" is a structured, supportive, and entertaining program that enables students to improve their vocabulary.

"Vocabulary Super Stretch" features two sets of skill levels: Set 1 and Set 2. Set 1 encompasses skill levels 9 -- 10. Set 2 encompasses skill levels 10 -- 11. Each Set contains 108 vocabulary words and 920 questions, providing students with comprehensive instruction and skill building exercises. Students will quickly learn techniques on how to decipher word meanings through root words and word origins and improve their overall vocabulary comprehension.

"Vocabulary Super Stretch" is an instructor-friendly teaching tool. The program has a built in records management system that allows both students and instructors to keep track of scores and also view and print reports. Instructors currently utilizing Merit Softwares "Vocabulary Super Stretch" program have expressed their satisfaction with the program and are amazed at how effective it is in the classroom.
