Petoskey, Michigan Is at Cutting Edge of Wireless Internet and Buffet Lines

Michigan Hotel uses new wireless antenna and 24 hour buffet to attract and keep guests coming back.

(PRWEB) May 2, 2005 -- Days Inn of Petoskey Michigan prides itself in offering the worlds first 24 hour free Buffet and its ability to deliver free wireless high speed internet. The customers demand for flexibility in eating caused to come up with an innovative approach to our one of a kind buffet. Our demand for the best services for our guests caused us to look at our wireless delivery with the same innovative approach.

As the popularity of wireless became a must for hotels, rv parks and motels around the country, Days Inn of Petoskey addressed the problem like many others and utilized off the shelf product to provide wireless internet to guests. David McKay, Days Inn Gen Manager said,"Designing a wireless network based on claims that are made on the box will quickly set you up for failure. This approach caused us to buy more and more access points to solve the problem but in doing so created a larger problem of noise between the access points and a support nightmare." He added," We discovered the Wifi-Plus MP antennas and were able to light up the entire two building hotel with just two access point radios. This increased availability along with saving support time, cost and customers. We were amazed at the difference an MP antenna made and have used the product for over a year with great success."

NLOS (non line of sight) wireless design allows options and coverages that were not possible with other technologies. Allowing rapid installation with out disruption to guests is a key benefit to the hotel, RV, Boater and restaurant community. Real world installations do not allow for Line of sight. The wireless world is full of obstruction that has hindered the adoption of wireless services.

WiFi-Plus, Inc. President Dennis Broderick said, Our customers have a problem that we can fix, thats how they find us. We are always excited to hear the excitement of our customers in discovering that our MP technology works better than any other wireless products they have tried." He went on to say," We are also excited to hear about the best buffet deal this side of Las Vegas. WiFi-Plus multi-polarity (MP) antenna technology will enable the next generation of connectivity to proceed."
