Shoreview, MN (PRWEB) May 4, 2005 -- XMaLpha Technologies is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen (Steve) A. Segal as Senior Systems Consultant and Chief Data Architect. In his new role, Steve will draw on his many years of experience with systems programming, planning, support and database administration activities for Oracle, DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server databases in XML-rich Windows and Unix environments. Steve will contribute to XMalpha's XML Legislative Solutions (tm), XML Business Solutions (tm), and other practice areas.
Steve Segal brings 25+ years of expertise in the IT industry, including extensive managerial and corporate successes from his leadership roles in diverse organizations. He has played a critical role in the development of XML solutions on XMaLpha Technologies projects in the Legislative and Pharmaceutical practice areas. Prior to joining XMaLpha, he consulted independently, served as a Systems Consultant/Database Administrator for Seagate Technology, and as a Technical Instructor, Course Developer and Systems Engineer for IBM Corporation.
Mr. Segal holds a B.A. in Economics/Accounting from University of California, Los Angeles, and a MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Minnesota.
