Upstate Veterinary Specialists has a new website reflecting its state-of-the art image.

UVS provides advanced medical, surgical and oncological care to Upstate SC, Northern Georgia, and parts of NC.

Six veterinary specialists currently staff the center. Surgeons, Dr. Dermot Jevens, Dr. Keith Allen and Dr. Spencer Johnston; Internists Dr. Katrina Toshach and Dr. Corrie Barker; Oncologist, Dr. Michelle Wall. Each of these vets has completed internship and residency programs and is board certified in their field of expertise. The UVS veterinarians work in collaboration with a client's primary veterinarian by providing the following advanced technologies: ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, myelography, radiology, complete laboratory evaluation, advanced case management, nuclear medicine, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, neurosurgery, surgical oncology, chemotherapy, and access to MRI. On a regular basis, these specialists are able to do procedures normally considered reserved for humans, such as total hip replacements and radiation therapy.

The website is meant to provide information to both referring veterinarians and potential clients. UVS accepts patients only by referral from their regular veterinarian.
