SAMSA Slams Spam

After a month of testing and evaluating methods of spam filtering for its clients, SAMSA is pleased to announce the implementation of a top notch spam filtering program. The new filtering technique features high grade detection capabilities and eliminates the need to "bounce" questionable spam.

(PRWEB) May 6, 2005 -- After a month of testing and evaluating methods of spam filtering for its clients, SAMSA is pleased to announce the implementation of a top notch spam filtering program. Unlike the former filtering provided to clients, the new way of filtering features high grade detection capabilities and eliminates the need to "bounce" questionable spam. Client charges for this service vary according to the length of the subscription as well as the number of email accounts. In addition, there will be a modest one time set-up fee of $50.00.

All SAMSA clients who wish to opt out of this service will receive all email and assume full responsibility for eliminating spam potentially being received by their staff. Although clients may control spamming through means of individual filtering on each users desktop without software, keep in mind that this route is demanding to keep up with in all but the smallest enterprises.

Spam is far more serious and problematic than a mere annoyance at first glance when viewing your inbox. Large amounts of spam are correlated with a slow down in worker productivity because employees are hassled with the need to review and delete massive amounts of unwanted mail. As the amount of spam clogging the inbox increases, the vulnerability to catching email borne viruses also rises. Spam messages may contain large file attachments that detract from the internet bandwidth your enterprise is paying for. At the same time, enterprise servers and work stations are cheated out of computer resources which may require frequent equipment upgrades. In all, when giving the responsibility of sorting spam to each of your enterprises employees, the end-users, an increased risk of failure is present.
