Royal Manor Health Center in Waco Texas Kicks Off National Nursing Home Week With Parade

In celebration of National Nursing Home Week, Royal Manor Health Center will be hosting a parade to honor our residents, their families and the staff who care for them. The Parade will begin at 9:30 a.m.(C.S.T.).

(PRWEB) May 7, 2005 -- To kick off National Nursing Home Week, Royal Manor Health Center will be hosting a parade honoring it's residents, families and staff. We will also pay tribute to Long Term Care Facilities nationwide with a Balloon Release following the parade.

Special recognition will be given to our residents who served in the United States Military forces. Members of the United States Marine Corps, Army, Air Force and Navy will march in the parade and present awards to our veterans.

We will also have representives from the Texas State Representative Doc Anderson's office, State Senator Kip Averitt's office, City Of Waco Mayor's office, Police Department and Fire Department. Proclamations from the City, State, and National levels will be presented.

The parade, awards ceremony and balloon release will be followed by a day filled with various activities.

The parade will begin at 9:30 am at Royal Manor Health Center located at 9114 Royal Lane in Waco, Texas.
