Private Equity Seminar in Jeddah Focusing on Europe
Private Equity to be held in Jeddah focussing on European opportunities and lessons. 4th June 2005 in Jeddah.
Germany, Cologne (PRWEB) May 8, 2005 -- The Professional Institute for Training and Development organises in association with Michael Gassner Consultancy based in Germany on 4th June the "Private Equity Seminar: A European Perspective - Diversification and Strategic Asset Allocation" in Jeddah, Saudi-Arabia. It will be the first of its kind seminar to be held in Saudi-Arabia and is prove to the increasing interest of Arab investors in European Private Equity Opportunities.
A number of speakers are scheduled such as Dr Kilian Baelz, law firm GleissLutz, which offers a case study on the acquisition of Celanese by Blackstone, one of the major deals done in Germany so far. A more general overview on Private Equity Opportunities will be offered by Jens Yahya Zimmermann, of HGU Hamburg Private Equity AG, reviewing and explaining the deal flow existing in Germany. Dr. Dar is representing the Joint Venture Dar Al Istithmar, which is set up by Deutsche Bank and Oxford Institute to coordinate Shariah compliance processes and he will discuss thoughts on market neutral strategies which even comply with Shariah standards. Michael Saleh Gassner will present his thoughts on Islamic models for equity and revenue bonds.
The real estate markets are covered by Jan Duehrkoop, IVG Immobilien, the largest German listed real estate company with presence all over Europe. Peter Jungen, one of the leading German entrepreneurs and Vice-President of the European Business Angels speaks about key success factors for investing and which opportunities could Europe offer based on his experience. The seminar will be opened by a keynote speech of Adnan Al Bahar, Chairman of the International Investor, Kuwait.
