Keno Twins Host 11th Annual Humanitarian Award Dinner Auction - America's Most Popular Antiques Experts and Hosts of PBS Series, 'Find!,' to Act as Auctioneers
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester today announced that two of Americas favorite antique experts, Leigh and Leslie Keno, will host the silent auction at the 11th Annual Humanitarian Award Dinner, the Clubs largest fundraising event. Sponsored by Ginnel Real Estate, the dinner will be held on Friday, June 3, 2005, at the Westair hangar, Westchester County Airport.

Kisco, NY (PRWEB) May 8, 2005 -- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester today announced that two of Americas favorite antique experts, Leigh and Leslie Keno, will host the live auction at the 11th Annual Humanitarian Award Dinner, the Clubs largest fundraising event. Sponsored by Ginnel Real Estate, the dinner will be held on Friday, June 3, 2005, at the Westair hangar, Westchester County Airport.
The Keno twins, hosts of the hit PBS series, Find!, appraisers on PBS Antiques Roadshow, and authors of Hidden Treasures: Searching for Masterpieces of American Furniture (Warren Books), will perform as auctioneers.

For the last 18 years, Leigh has owned Leigh Keno American Antiques, a gallery in Manhattan, dealing in fine eighteenth, and early nineteenth century American furniture and decorative arts. During that time, he has helped build some of the top institutional and private collections of American furniture.
Leslie Keno is Senior Vice President, Senior Specialist, Director of American Furniture and Decorative Arts Department at Sothebys in New York. During his nearly 25 years in the department, Leslie has been responsible for numerous sales and world auction records.
We are honored to have Leigh and Leslie host the auction," said Board Member Shelley Waln. Their presence will make it the most memorable auction to date."

Proceeds from the auction typically account for 30% of the total funds raised by the dinner."
This years live auction will feature such items as: one week in Aspen at a Victorian that sleeps ten; an Umbria Tour; a Trotsky" puppy (bichon frise and maltese mix, the offspring of Club Board President Bonnie Trottas bichon and Club Board Vice President Seema Boeskys maltese); dinner with Glenn Close; five private box seats for Saratoga Day at the Races; a golf package; dinner cruise on Forbes Yacht; a day at the Sesame Street production studio and a visit with cast and characters; two tickets to the MTV Video Music Awards; two tickets to a Celine Dion concert in Las Vegas; and dinner for 12 at Blue Hill at Stone Barns private dining room.
The Humanitarian Award Dinner is open to all by advance reservation. The cocktail reception and silent auction, which begins at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by a sit-down dinner. There will be an award presentation, live auction and dancing. Individual tickets are $350; sponsorship tables are also available.
