Cagewarriors Announce Their Latest Card For Their "Strike Force" Event On Saturday 21st May 2005 In Coventry, England
The Skydome in Coventry will play host to the first Cagewarriors Fighting Championships event in the Midlands, as on the 21st May the Cagewarriors Fighting Championships in association with Coventry based Warrior Promotions" present a night of international Mixed Martial Arts action.
(PRWEB) May 8, 2005 -- The first Cagewarriors "Strike Force" show is a ground breaking event taking place in the world class Skydome arena in Coventry, which holds 4000 fans and features 11 exciting Mixed Martial Arts/Ultimate Fighting bouts. The main event of the evening features local fighting legend Barrington Patterson as he takes on the 130kg Frenchman Marc Emmanuel in Patterson's retirement bout.
This show will not only be the biggest Cagewarriors Show yet, but will also be the UKs biggest Ultimate Fighting/MMA show and will focus on giving the fans in attendance complete entertainment package for all the fans in attendance that includes a mix of big screens and pyrotechnics for those with standard tickets to enjoy. Whilst VIPs will have a lavish area which will have hostesses, waitresses and more.
Fights are subject to change and are not in fight order.
All CWFC MMA bouts will be held under Professional NSAC/CWFC MMA Rules, consisting of three, 5 minute rounds (3x5) for non-title bouts and five, 5 minute rounds (5x5) for Title fights. All fights are under MMA rules unless stated and will be held inside the 32ft custom made titanium CWFC octagon.

Due to the popularity, hype and the local connections surrounding this event all 67 VIP Tables and all other VIP seating have been sold. Standard tickets are available at the Skydomes box office and range from 20, 15, and 10 pounds with a special Family ticket of 30 (for 2 adults and 2 children)
Due to local demand three more dates have already been added for this year as the Strike Force brand will be returning to the Skydome on the 16th July, 24th September and the 26th November. As the CWFC and Warrior Promotions look to build on the growing popularity of this new fight phenomenon by establishing a tight local base in the midlands.

The Cagewarriors Fighting Championship (CWFC) brand is one of the UKs leading professional mixed martial arts events and was established in the summer of 2002, by Dougie Truman and was run under his Shield Promotions" banner.
The CWFC has now expanded to include a total of 3 branded events, which now includes "Strike Force" which is promoted by Dougie Truman and Warrior Promotions. "Ultimate Force" which is the Northern Franchise run by respected Yorkshire promoter Paul Murphy.
