Groundbreaking technology offers new service opportunities for Financial Advisors. Financial Guidance SystemÂ? is the first solution designed to help advisors focus on managing client behaviors rather than predicting market performance.

financeXpert.com, Inc. today announced it will release the beta version of its ground breaking Financial Guidance System™ (FGS) to a select group of financial advisors on June 1, 2005. This program is intended to provide critical feedback and real-world testing in anticipation of the platform’s release in July of 2005.

Financial Guidance System™, a web-based platform built on the powerful .Net platform, is the first technology solution designed specifically to help advisors focus on managing client behaviors rather than predicting market performance.

According to company co-founder, Larry Fowler, “The biggest factor in your client’s success is how they handle their money, including how and when they spend it, during different phases of a market cycle. financeXpert’s technology focuses on innovations that help advisors steer clients away from serious mistakes.”

Since investors tend to make their biggest mistakes during periods when their portfolios are not performing according to expectations FGS includes features that help advisors manage “Event Risks”. As an example, advisors will be able to plan asset allocations at the account level, enabling them to have different risk profiles for different goals.

To help advisors transition their practices to meet the changing service needs of tens of millions of retiring “Boomers” FGS employs an “endowment approach” to retirement planning. Says Fowler, “By now it’s obvious that the tools that advisors need for managing retirement distributions are different from the ones they used to help clients accumulate wealth.”

In a major departure from traditional solutions, FGS gives advisors the ability to stress-test financial decisions using a range of realistic simulations. Allowing clients to experience a “financial simulator” using actual market data, rather than basing recommendations on traditional projections, helps advisors change their focus from “getting the right answer” to understanding and managing the factors that drive client behaviors.

General release of Version 1.0 is planned for July 5, 2005. Future releases are planned to include direct links to a variety of data sources, allowing advisors to automatically update simulations whenever they choose.
