The contestants in the pageants showed off their figures and talents, while wearing swimwear provided by Tropi-Ties.
Latina women came from all around the state of New York to participate in this prestigious event. The Miss Latina pageants have been gaining recognition as an important showcase for Latina women and their talents. The pageants have also been instrumental in providing a springboard for careers for Latina women by providing modeling opportunities. Miss Teen Latina NY, Camile Mangual, was recently featured on the cover of the 2005 Prom guide magazine that reaches of over 1 Million High School students. Teen & Ms. Latina NY are featured in the latest issue of Street's Mos' Magazine and the Miss Latina NY USA pageant was recently featured in the latest issue of Mija Magazine!
Tropi-Ties Swimwear has continued to sponsor the Miss Latina pageants over the last three years. This year, the contestants wore their classic, black, Sidewinder Bikini.

The Miss Latina NY USA pageant, http://www.latinanewyork.com, is organized and run by Clarissa Santiago, of Ideal Entertainment, and was voted the 2004 Director of the Year in the Miss Latina Pageant organization. The Miss Latina pageants, http://misslatina.com, were created and are currently produced by Dawn Ramos, Dawn Ramos Productions. Ms. Ramos, a Latina herself, found that there were no pageants for Latina women, so she organized one herself. The Miss Latina Pageants have grown to become one of the most widely recognized pageants for young women.
