Paula Duffy, sports enthusiast and founder of Incidental Contact, announces the launch of her sports blog, "Daily Dose of Duffy." The daily blog, found at http://www.incidentalcontact.com, is one of the first sports blogs from a woman's perspective.

Paula Duffy, a lifelong sports enthusiast and founder of Incidental Contact, an innovative program featuring sports seminars for women – taught by women – has just launched one of the first-ever sports blogs from a woman's perspective, “Daily Dose of Duffy.” The daily blog can be found on the company's Web site, http://www.incidentalcontact.com (click on “Daily Sports Talk”), and offers fans an innovative outlet to hear sports related commentary and mini editorials from a woman's point of view with a unique human interest angle and great cross over appeal for men. This blog will serve as a great tool for those who attend her sports seminars as well as those curious about sports to learn more about the latest sports news- in a way they can understand. The premier blog, “Hi, I'm Paula and I'm a sports-a-holic” debuted on Monday, May 9.

“Blogs have proved to be an amazing way to instantly communicate news and commentary to a wide audience. I saw that some fans didn't really have a blog that catered fully to their interests in regard to sports – so I decided it was time to create one! I hope that my blog will welcome more fans – both men and women – into the sports world and help them to be able to talk about daily sports happenings with other sports enthusiasts in their life,” said Duffy.

The “Daily Dose of Duffy” blog, which incorporates the latest RSS (Really Simple Syndication) technology, allowing for easy viewing of syndicated material, is the latest component in the rapid growth and popularity of Incidental Contact LLC. The company was founded by Duffy, a Southern California attorney and lifelong sports enthusiast who saw the need to educate women about sports and the resulting power of that knowledge when translated into conversation in both social and business settings, especially the friendly confines of sports bars.

Duffy observed that many women found professional sports hard to follow and thus felt left out of many conversations in all walks of life. She also noticed that meeting potential romantic partners has become a huge industry, yet more people than ever are still seeking that someone special. Duffy believes that Internet dating sites lack real human contact and leave a person without a true way to break the ice and spark interest. She endeavored to create seminars and a community that would offer women an opportunity to build new, personal relationships in a real environment, as opposed to a virtual one, and the launch of the blog is the next step in that process.

Additionally, Duffy's next sports class, “Take the Mystery out of Sports,” will be sponsored by the Learning Annex and held in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 26 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The class will cover the fundamentals of basketball, and will include a “field trip” to a bar to watch a basketball game with Duffy. You can register for the class at http://www.learningannex.com.

About Incidental Contact™ Sports Seminars:

Incidental Contact™ sports seminars are taught in a fun and interactive way that women can understand and enjoy and result in women being able to utilize the company’s two main teaching tools: “Talk to the Screen™ “: breaking the ice by doing what comes naturally at games or sports bars and “Talk to the Shirt™”: knowing how to speak about the team or person featured on sports apparel. Through extensive research, Duffy found these to be very successful ways for women to step outside their normal boundaries and meet new people or connect with people they already know.
