Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) May 11, 2005
Vision Dynamics Entertainment, a Las Vegas based indie-filmmaker group, announces the premiere of their third feature-length film, The Indie. The PG-type action comedy will premiere at the Brenden Theatres, located inside the Palms Casino Resort, on June 30, 2005. Producer/Writer, Edward Dentzel plans on using this event as a springboard for finding distribution. Over a thousand industry professionals from LA to London have been invited, making this the boldest endeavor to date for the young company. The movie was shot on weekends back to back from May to September of last year, and the production was challenged with difficult sound locations and lack of budget. However, using the latest in digital technology and cutting-edge editing and sound programs, the group was able to give their production a higher quality look. In addition, Director Kelly Schwarze recruited the efforts of music group Black Camaro. The band combined the styles of Pink Floyd and the mythology of Beatles with a twist of quirkiness to create a completely original soundtrack. Schwarze and Dentzel feel great about the project, and anticipate this event will put them on the map.
The Indie Pendant will premiere at the Brendeb Theatres, inside the Palms Casino Resort, on Thursday June 30th at 9:30PM AND 11:30PM. The film will also be showing on Tuesday July 5th, and Wednesday July 6th at 11PM.
ÂThe Indie Pendant is a quirky comedy that combines the controversial subjects of internet piracy, scarcely talented Hollywood producers and screenplay theft. The film also gives viewers a first-time look at the todayÂs independent filmmaker, and the struggles this minority faces in dealing with the ÂHollywood MachineÂ. Vision Dynamics Entertainment is a Las Vegas-based independent film and music video company that has already produced fifteen music videos and three feature films.
Kelly Schwarze, Director, and Co-Producer of The Indie Pendant stated, ÂIn our first two films, we had this mentality that things were good enough considering their budgets. However, with The Indie Pendant we didnÂt want to have that handicap. We wanted to compete with films that cost 20 million dollars! Thank goodness for these new post programs. It leveled the playing fields, and will give us a fighting chance when it comes to distribution.Â
