Spatial Insights Develops CartoUS: Nationwide Mapping Data

Sourced from the latest U.S. Census Bureau TIGER files, CartoUS contains over 40 layers of mapping data, and comes with an advanced data loader to facilitate data preparation.

(PRWEB) May 12, 2005 -- Spatial Insights, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of CartoUS, a nationwide mapping database, containing over 40 layers of map data. The CartoUS data are sourced from the latest US Census Bureau TIGER files, with enhanced display characteristics and roadway classifications. The data are available by county, state, region, or nationwide, and includes Puerto Rico and the US possessions. Spatial Insights also offers the data pre-bundled into census, roadway system, landmark, school district and metro area boundary bundles.

Coverage of custom client-specified boundaries or of other standard geographies is available upon request.

The data ships with an advanced data loading application that facilitates the selection of geographic coverage and layers. The data loading application also merges the files to create seamless map layers.

Spatial Insights also offers expedited delivery of the data via ftp download or email.
