John Cass, Blogger & President-Elect, Boston AMA joins Backbone Media, Inc., adds new depth to BackboneÂ?s Internet Marketing Team. First initiative will be industry survey on the results of corporate blogging, to be presented at two June 2005 Internet conferences.

John Cass joined Boston based Backbone Media, Inc., as their new Director of Internet Marketing Strategies. John’s expertise in corporate blogging and online PR will help Backbone’s clients to produce even better results online.

John Cass is known in the Internet marketing and PR industry for his blog, PR Communications, a blog all about PR, marketing and the Internet. He is also known for his 2004 corporate blogging survey where his research revealed how such companies as Microsoft and Macromedia are using blogs to communicate with their customers; the survey results were presented at the Global PR Blog Week on PR and blogging.

John will be announcing the results of the corporate blogging survey at the upcoming online conference Global PR Blog Week 2.0 on PR and blogging.

A member of the American Marketing Association, John Cass is the President-Elect of the Boston Chapter of the AMA ; John will be moderating a panel discussion on blogging at the AMA’s workshop on blogging in Boston June 24th.
