Spectrum Digital Services, LLC Mixes Technology and Tradition and Takes the Greeting Card to another Level

SpinCards, the original CD Greeting Card, will launch a full line of greeting cards and new products at the National Stationery Show in New York City.

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 13, 2005 -- After introducing boxed sets of the worlds first greeting card / recordable disc combination at the National Stationery Show in 2004, Spectrum Digital Services, LLC will launch a complete product line of individual cards with over 100 selections and a variety of merchandising vehicles at the 2005 National Stationery Show.

Marketed under the name SpinCards, the line of greeting cards includes a matching blank recordable compact disc (CD-R) with each greeting card. Greeting cards with matching recordable DVDs are being developed right now.

SpinCards brings a whole new dimension to the greeting card. No longer do you have to choose which baby picture to include with a birth announcement, you can simply send them all," said Lori Smith, SpinCardsTM National Sales Manager.

Pictures, musical recordings, video clips, and video games will become an integral part of the greeting card. A SpinCard becomes the vehicle for a new generation of personalized greetings, limited only by ones imagination. Were taking greeting cards to a whole new level," Smith said.

SpinCards are available for a variety of occasions. Holiday cards, birth announcements, birthday, wedding favor and wedding thank you cards are just a few of the categories that lend themselves to the greeting card / recordable disc combination. A recently developed category, While Youve Been Away", has been an immediate success. These cards are perfect for people with friends or family in the military, or for parents with kids away at college.

The National Stationery Show is the logical venue to introduce this product," said Russell S. Gnant, Spectrums CEO. As digital photography and CD burning becomes mainstream, consumers are ready for a keepsake solution to the problem of sending photos, music, or videos to friends and family. National Stationery Show attendees market to this very group of consumers."

SpinCardsTM are available at select retail outlets throughout the country now and at www.spincards.com. Spectrum is working with several distribution channels to rollout the product nationwide and consumers will find the product in a store near them shortly.
