A New Real Estate Website Is Trying to Change the Way Homes Are Sold

FreeHomeDirectory.com, a new type of real estate website, has recently launched and is quickly gaining in popularity for listing and searching homes because it's a completely free service.

(PRWEB) May 14, 2005 -- In the tough market of Real Esate, there appears to be many new trends for internet marketing. One of those new trends is listing homes on a non-IDX/non-MLS website. One of the new webistes leading this trend is FreeHomeDirectory.com, Launched in April 2005. Unlike most other Real Estate websites, this website allows anyone to search or create Real Estate ads for free where typically charges can be anywhere from $75 to $10,000 or more.

Although it is relatively new, within the last two weeks, FreeHomeDirectory.com has been receiving close to 400,000 page views on a daily basis. It's not at the same level for web traffic like larger sites such as Realtor.com or Realestate.com, but it does have a distinct advantage. This website isn't just for Real Estate agents, or Realtors, it's also for people selling their homes themselves, or For Sale By Owner as it's commony known as. Typically your larger MLS dominated websites will not allow those listings to be posted. This has been a big disadvantage to For Sale By Owner crowd.
